Rachel Greener

Rachel Greener is a children’s books editor from London who has written and edited fiction, non-fiction and picture books about everything from the ancient Egyptians and ocean plastics to teenage detectives and zombie goldfish. She wrote this book because she thinks it is important that all children have a chance to see themselves reflected in a book about puberty.

ABOUT THE ILLUSTRATOR

Clare Owen

Clare Owen is a UK-based illustrator, who graduated from art school with a first-class honors degree in 2009 and has been working as a freelance illustrator ever since! A self-confessed Francophile and cat lover, other sources of inspiration are varied and vast, from travel, to mid-century design, to the natural world. Personal heros include Nora Ephron, Carson Ellis and Alexander Girard (And Beyonce, of course.); all of whom inspire and inform her work and practice daily. Clare's clients include AirBnB, Real Simple, The Knot, EOS, Anthropologie and Papyrus. When Clare isn't in her studio she loves eating out, decorating her new house and adventures on her bike.
