Born in London, Elsa has a degree in Philosophy and Modern Languages, Master in Arts from the University of Oxford and in Journalism from the Autonomous University of Madrid. She also has a Master in Secondary Education from the Camilo José Cela University in Madrid.
Content Director in the Laboratory of Social and Emotional Learning (LASE), she currently participates on TVE1’s mainstream program “la hora de la 1” and has created, in 2020, a new series of podcasts, “Small Revolutions to Grow”, in Audible, Amazon’s audio platform.
Elsa has published several highly successful titles on emotional intelligence: “Brújula para Navegantes Emocionales", "Inocencia radical" and the fable "El León jardinero”. In 2012, she launched her bestseller "Una mochila para el Universo" already published in fourteen countries, and in 2014, the book on social intelligence "El Mundo en tus manos".
Elsa is today one of the leading Spanish-speaking figures in the world for the dissemination of emotional intelligence as a tool for positive change, as witnessed by her extensive and direct presence through conferences and in the media throughout Latin America and in Spain.
