Halina Malyk
Halyna Malyk has been a member of The National Writers' Union of Ukraine since 1991.
She is a poet, a writer, a playwright and a translator. For children, she writes fairy-tales, poems, tongue twisters and riddles. Interesting stories and situations teach children to be friends, empathize with each other, learn more about the world and appreciate nature.

ABOUT THE ILLUSTRATOR
Olha Kvasha
Olha Kvasha was born in Lutsk in 1976. She graduated from Lviv National Academy of Arts in 1999 and has been living and working in Lviv. Olha is well-known in the world; her works are in private collections in Ukraine, Poland, Great Britain, Germany, France, USA, Canada, Japan and Brazil. Her illustrations for children’s books create a touching, somewhat nostalgic atmosphere. They have been used in art therapy by mental health professionals.
