ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Susanna Isern

She grew up among mountains in the Spanish Pyrenees. When she was little, her favorite hobby was to run around, discovering incredible insects and helping sick or endangered animals. It was then that animals started to whisper her stories, which she hurried to write in the notebook she always carried with her. She is the author of many children’s books, most of them distributed internationally and translated into over a dozen languages. She has been awarded the Silver Medal in the Moonbeam Children’s Book Awards 2013 in the USA.

ABOUT THE ILLUSTRATOR

Rosio Bonilla

Rocio has a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts and a master’s degree in Education. She studied illustration under Ignasi Blanch y Roger Olmos. Since 2010 she has worked both as an illustrator (for publishing houses, media and art projects) and a painter of murals. She has illustrated dozens of books, some of which have been translated and published in China, the USA, France, Belgium, Italy, Portugal, Corea, Taiwan and China.
